Here's what you can expect from ScanSnap 2.3:
Image Rotation for Photos
Rotate photos based on the orientation of faces it detects within them.
For scans recognised as photos within ScanSnap Home and ScanSnap Cloud, the face detection software locates eyes and mouths and rotates the image accordingly – making sure any photo you scan that features a face is always saved the right way round.
PRIVACY NOTE: Any information used during face detection is deleted from ScanSnap Cloud Servers once the operation is complete. Dedicated Terms and Conditions will need to be agreed before using this feature.

Scan to New Destinations
The Scan to Email feature for ScanSnap iX1500 and iX1600 devices connected to ScanSnap Cloud lets you scan documents directly into an email without the need to be connected to a computer. In just a few simple steps, you can have documents or photos scanned and in an email, ready to send to your contacts.
PRIVACY NOTE: Any data processed through the ScanSnap Email service will be processed through a server located in the EU. Dedicated Terms and Conditions will need to be agreed before using this feature.
The ScanSnap 2.3 update also integrates better with business cloud storage solutions. Now you can save documents and photos directly to a shared folder in Google Drive, or a team folder in Dropbox Business.

Dutch language Support
The ScanSnap 2.3 update extends the world-class ScanSnap experience to Dutch speaking ScanSnap owners, with ScanSnap Home and the Touch Panel user interface on the ScanSnap iX1500 and iX1600 now available in Dutch language.
