The Challenge
The University of Bucharest recently launched an initiative to establish Laboratories of Innovative Pedagogies, aimed at creating a state-of-the-art digital research infrastructure for faculty, researchers, and students. To support this ambitious goal, five Klip Snap Book Cradle units were provided and strategically placed across different university faculties. The Solution
In partnership with RICOH SV600 scanners, the Klip Snap Book Cradles allow for the efficient digitization of bound materials, such as books, research papers, and other essential documents within the university’s labs. The key features of this solution include:

- Adaptable Cradle Design: Supports documents of varying thicknesses and sizes, accommodating materials up to A3+ in size, including both bound and thin papers.
- Customizable Use: Operators can choose to use the cradle with or without the flattening glass, depending on the document type and desired scan quality, making it suitable for a variety of materials.
