ScanSnap Go temporarily connects your smartphone to the iX2500 when you hold your device near the scanner.

This enables you to use an iX2500 quickly across different locations, such as a free‑address office on another floor or a shared workspace. It also makes it easier for multiple family members to share the same scanner at home.

If you already use an iX2500, your usual scan settings will appear on the touch panel. This means you can use any iX2500 with the same experience as your own device.^*1

Once disconnected, user information is cleared from the iX2500, helping maintain security.
