London, UK, 13th November 2025 – PFU (EMEA) Limited today announced the launch of the ScanSnap iX2400, a new USB-connected personal document scanner that helps individuals improve their productivity, centred around simplicity and trusted performance.
The latest addition to the world’s most popular personal scanner brand, the iX2400 is a desktop scanner designed for individuals and IT novices who want to enjoy the speed, ease and productivity of the ScanSnap experience in its simplest form – with no complex settings or network connectivity issues to contend with. This model offers the same basic scanning performance as the flagship iX2500 model, but with a simpler interface. Its one-button operation and Quick Menu allow you to scan straight to the applications you use with no configuration required, making it an ideal solution for customers who prefer a more straightforward experience.
Its minimal learning curve and secure connection to laptop, PC or Mac via USB 3.2 means you can have it out of the box and ready to go in minutes.
Equipped with PFU’s next-generation “iiGA,” System on Chip (SoC) the iX2400 achieves the fastest scanning speed in its class* - 45 pages per minute (A4, duplex, colour, 300 dpi). While the maximum number of documents that can be loaded at one time has been increased to 100 sheets of standard 80g/sm paper.
The included ScanSnap Home software enables you to quickly save your scanned documents as PDFs or searchable PDFs, standard image files, or editable Word, Excel or PowerPoint files. You can also extract receipt or business card data to .CSV files, and save and easily send your digitised files to PC, network locations, email, or your favourite cloud-based storage and collaboration applications. Usable email or url data in business cards is also instantly recognised and activated as working clickable links. And from December 9th, ARM-based Windows support will also be available for the iX2400.
The scanner’s elegant, aesthetic design, inspired by soft shadows and clean lines, allows it to blend seamlessly into the modern home or office environment. This suitability is reinforced by its compact footprint of 292 mm x 161 mm, and low power consumption.
The iX2400 is our simplest ScanSnap experience to date, delivering effortless, elegant efficiency at the touch of a button.
